From the beginning of time, indigenous cultures on every continent shared a shamanic spiritual view. Our forebears lived close to the earth, deeply in tune with her cycles and seasons, the elements and nature. In this experiential series, we use journeying, the basics of healing, and ceremony to embrace shamanism and deepen our connection with Spirit. Pre-requisite: attendance at the two-basic shamanism workshop. The Call of the Drum is a foundational class for further shamanic study and strongly recommended before the one-year ancestral healing series and the 2.5-year shamanic program.
- exploring Mother Earth and Father Sky energies
- learning simple healing techniques such as soul retrieval
- being in integrity with our energy and learning simple curse unraveling techniques
- working with rites of passage to open and create movement
This is a six-month commitment, meeting November 17 and December 8, 2024. The class continues in the new year, meeting January 12, February 16, March 9, and April 6, 2025. Attendance at all six classes is strongly recommended to get the most out of the series.
Fee: $200 for each class. Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch. Our workshop site has full kitchen facilities. A $50 deposit is due in advance with registration. The balance is due the morning of class. Payment may be made by PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or by mailing a check.
