We inherit an energetic legacy from those who came before us – both their gifts and also their unhealed wounds. The energy of our ancestors affects us much more than what we may initially realize. We might feel disconnected, like we don’t have roots. Or for example, we might have felt a sense of grief since childhood and be puzzled over the source, only later to realize it’s an ancestor grandmother’s sadness over the loss of a baby. Working in sacred space, we can learn about our family and bring light and awareness into an original wound from the past that is still affecting the lineage. The healing transforms the family energy system and ripples out in all directions to the ancestors, the current generations, and even the generations yet to come, enabling the lineage to move into a greater place of balance and harmony.
Participants in the Introduction to Ancestral Healing workshop must be able to receive intuitive information in shamanic journeys. If you don’t yet have that skill, please consider attending the two-day basic shamanism workshop.
In this weekend experiential workshop, you will:
- explore the gathering place of ancestors and meet a family totem and an ancestor ally
- recognize and connect with the gifts, resilience, and strength of your lineage
- reconnect with the ancestral homeland energetically to receive support and sustenance
- witness an original wound and bring it into the light for healing
