Divine compassionate beings come to us in times of need. Mother Mary might comfort us with her loving energy when we’re grieving or in despair. Archangel Michael may appear beside us in an emergency to lend his protection and warrior strength.
And of course, we can choose to actively seek their aid. They freely give their love, support, wisdom and protection when asked. All we need to do is make a sincere request. We might pause in the moment and ask for their assistance in the form of a prayer. But even thinking of them with a sense of urgency will summon them. They know what’s in our heart.
We can call on a certain divine being by name if we know who we would like assistance from. Or we can make a general request. If we’re not sure who might help us in a situation, we can ask for a loving compassionate guide for our purpose and whoever is best suited will appear.
We might feel a shift in the energy of the room or sense a warm, loving presence nearby. We may feel a light touch on our arm or see pinpricks of colored light. If it’s a divine being we’ve worked with before, we may recognize their energy.
They come, fill our request and then depart, leaving an echo of their energy behind to continue comforting us. And later we reflect and give gratitude for their presence in our lives.
Because the divine ones exist in spirit form, they can be many places at once, helping all who need their support. Sometimes we hesitate to call them, thinking our problems aren’t worthy or that there is value in soldiering our way through alone. Their energy lightens any burden. And in asking for assistance, we remind ourselves of our connection to all beings and that we are always held and loved by the divine.
